Organizacja tak ogromnej imprezy jak Europejski Konwent Kuglarski (EJC) to nie lada wyczyn i dużo pracy zespołu organizacyjnego. Niestety nawet najwspanialszy zespół czasami napotyka na swojej drodze przeszkody, które paraliżują dalsze działania. Już nie po raz pierwszy dzieje się taka historia. Tym razem odwołano imprezę w Lipsku w Niemczech. Dla nas tym smutniejsza informacja, że Lipsk jest całkiem blisko Polski. Zaostrzone przepisy przeciw pożarowe i normy hałasu w Niemczech stawiają nie lada wyzwanie przed organizacją dużych imprez kuglarskich także w przyszłości. Zatem rok 2020 jest na tą chwilą zagadką.
Poniżej oficjalny komunikat organizatora w sprawie odwołanej imprezy:
Dear All,
we have to go public with the news which are looming behind the scenes now since a couple of
months. We have to cancel the EJC Leipzig in 2020.
Sadly we have not been able to get all the necessary permissions from the authorities. For 14 months
we have invested a lot of blood sweat and tears into the realisation of this project.
Now the last attempt to make it possible on a different location in Magdeburg has failed for the same
reasons as in Leipzig.
In short, we now had to realize that, with a total of nine days, the EJC is to long to be in accordance
with german noise emission regulations.
We have done everything we could think of to make it work, but we couldn’t change the minds of the
authorities.
We would like to thank the over 70 participants that already contributed to the EJC with their work
and trust in us.
We also hope that there might be another team somewhere in Europe that can make an EJC 2020
possible at a different location!
