Carnival Otwarta Przestrzeń Cyrkowa w Łodzi, pragnie zaprosić na Cyrkologię – Międzynarodowy Konwent Pedagogiki Cyrku.
Podczas 3 dni konwentu będą miały miejsce warsztaty rozwijające umiejętności praktyczne, wykłady teoretyczne, dyskusje oraz prezentacje, a także kabaret. Będzie również okazja do poznania pracy social circus prezentowanego przez Cirque du Monde -Social Circus Program of Cirque du Soleil.
Wydarzenie ma charakter niekomercyjny, na pokrycie kosztów organizacji imprezy pobierane są opłaty od uczestników

The Social Educircation network in cooperation with the Fundacja Miasto Projekt from Poland will host in 2016 a training offered by Cirque du Monde, the social circus program of Cirque du Soleil. This training is organized primarily for the Central-Eastern European countries to enhance social circus activities and its professional level. Led by two trainers from Cirque du Soleil, the training is conducted in two distinct parts, Part 1 and Part 2, each lasting 40 hours and spread over five days. Based around themed activities, games, discussion and reflection, it aims to:
-Develop the skills of practitioners in terms of the planning and running of social circus workshops
-Position the circus arts as a bridge between education, social intervention and artistic expression.
-Develop high levels of personal and professional ethics
-Lead practitioners to put creativity at the heart of their approach
-Pass on the basics of the tandem approach
-Lead practitioners to reflect on the reality of the communities targeted
by their project
-Raising awareness among practitioners of the international reach of the social circus movement

BJC is heading back to Nottingham for the 30th Anniversary of the British Juggling Convention! Get ready for another fun filled week of juggling, spinning, hooping, workshops, shows, games and more!
The British Juggling Convention, also known as BJC, is one of the four largest juggling conventions in the world. Attendance can vary, but BJCs have attracted between 700 – 1,000 people in recent years. The event is traditionally held at a different location during the Easter holidays every year and is organised by a new team of volunteers; „run by jugglers for jugglers”. The 2017 BJC starts on Friday 7th April, and runs through until Thursday 13th April 2017.
So what’s it all about?
The event is for all forms of juggling and object manipulation, plus many other circus skills. The BJC usually features many workshops during the day, shows in the evenings, and a public show on the Sunday. Checkout the video from BJC2016 below.

The European Juggling Convention (EJC) is historically one of world’s biggest social gatherings of Jugglers, Aerialists, Hula Hoopers, Flow artists, Extreme Unicyclists, Whip Crackers and Knife Throwers. A festival of talent and skill but also fun and relaxation. In 2019, in it’s 42nd year, we are bringing it to the UK and we want YOU to be there!
CONVENTION OR FESTIVAL
Convention = a large meeting of a particular interest group. Festival = an event celebrated by a community. Which ever definition you choose for the EJC, we invite you to take a week out of your regular life and come to the EJC. Never been before? Now is your chance to find out if what everyone says is true. Will you discover or renew : a love of all things circus? Make or meet up with life long friends? Learn something new? Watch something incredible? Have fun? The answer is a resounding yes!
BRITISH COUNTRYSIDE
We are super excited to be holding the event here in the UK and we invite people from all over the world. Come and experience our juggling festival here in the heart of the British Countryside. Existing Juggling or Circus skills are not required!
